Will At Work

Overview: It's Shakespeare ... but this time from behind ... time will-spent!  William Shakespeare remembers, reflects ...

Summary/Synopsis:

... in the dead and dark of night, plank by plank, a theatre is dramatically transported across the river Thames and erected on the other side ...

... actors act up in the tiring house (the dressing room) of the newly built Globe Theatre during a 1599 performance of the last act of William Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, that "lamentable comedy and most cruel death of Pyramus and Thisby..."

... here are the men responsible for the "First Folio," John Heminge and Henry Condell, and Thomas Pope, reputed to have played Falstaff before the Queen, the musician/actor Augustine Phillip; Richard Burbage, the primary "sharer" and lead actor.

And here’s the Bard as the true "Lion" he was as he directs his actors in new scenes he has just written for Henry V and yes, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark.

And you'll also meet Nell in whom William Shakespeare finds an unexpected understanding.
